Microsoft Fabric Readiness, Licensing and Implementation Advisory Services

The Vendor is required to provide to expedite vendor quoting and avoid procurement process delays. It identifies the specific Microsoft fabric platform components agency is seeking to procure, provides a projected workload profile for sizing.
- Fabric platform:
• SmartWorks Compass MDM (PostgreSQL) — meter data management, VEE processing, read collection
• Landis & Gyr HES (SaaS) — 15-minute interval electric reads, outage last-gasp events, device telemetry
• Badger BEACON SaaS (Water HES) — hourly water reads, leak detection flags, device status
• Cayenta CIS (SQL Server) — customer accounts, billing cycles, service orders
- The platform is expected to benefit multiple agency departments beyond AMI, including Operations, Engineering, GIS, SCADA, and Information Technology.
- Required for connecting any on-premise source systems to Fabric pipelines.

• Confirm vendor certification status for Microsoft Fabric / Azure advanced specialization
• Describe availability of Microsoft FastTrack for Fabric or equivalent onboarding program
• Provide a general timeline estimate for Phase 1: Fabric workspace provisioning, onelake lakehouse setup, and initial PostgreSQL / SQL Server pipeline connections
• Provide a directional one-time professional services cost estimate for Phase 1 Implementation
