The Vendor is required to provide public address (PA) system service and maintenance as requested by county for any isolated PA systems events school system wide that will require and PA system maintenance, services or repairs performed as necessary.
- Required:
1. Remove existing intercom system and associated cabling.
• The school system will issue 1 tile per speaker being removed
• The vendor must repair or replace any damaged items (tiles, cables, etc.) in accordance with the building standards of the department of maintenance.
• Upon removal, old public address system equipment should be delivered to the country division of supporting services at 27190 point lookout road.
2. Furnish and install tele core-series equipment to replace all existing system components
• Classrooms: 1 emergency display, 1 call switch, 1 speaker
• Hallways: speakers as required
• Front office: administrative console and additional emergency displays as specified
3. Other system requirements
• Sip interface to AVAYA IP office phone system
• Master clock system with calendar interface
4. Training (must be provided in submittal for review)
• Training of the site administrator(s) and front office staff
• Training of the safety and security staff
• It training of the technician
5. System documentation
• A map of the system must include a layout of the building with notation of extensions for all call switches and PA speakers
• 1-2 page user guide specific for the site.
