The Vendor is required to provide audio-recorded transcription services for health consulting, which is the consulting and operations division of university.
- Volume and frequency of transcription services
• The research and evaluation business unit of for health consulting at university multiple public and private clients where several hundred interviews, sometimes including focus groups, (typically averaging one (1) hour each) are often conducted annually.
• The peak times for these transcriptions can vary, but are often the highest from the months of March through November each year.
- Transcription standards
• Transcription files should be redacted, quality checked, completed, and submitted back to university within ten (10) business days.
• Speakers must be clearly identified as participants or interviewees (i.e., p1, p2, etc.) in transcriptions with multiple speakers, specifically related to transcriptions for focus groups.
• Similarly, interviewers must be identified separately from the participants or interviewees (i.e., i1, i2, etc.).
• Transcriptions must adhere to the guidance provided for each specific transcription including acronyms typically used by participants.
• Any inadvertent personal information contained in audio-recoded files must be omitted from the final transcription.
• Written transcripts must include periodic timestamps through the document.
