Language Services and Interpretation Services

The vendor is required to provide language services and interpretation for the health and welfare of all people within its borders and serves as the local government for the unincorporated areas; innovation thrives here in industries including bioscience, computer software, green technology, hospitality, financial management, health care, education and transportation.
- American Sign Language (ASL):
• Provide high quality video interpretation services for American Sign Language (ASL), video and phone interpretation services for other languages between agency employees, patients, and qualified interpreters.
- Languages
• Video and phone interpretation services need to be provided, at a minimum, in the following languages: Chinese, Spanish, Tagalog, Russian, Tongan, Burmese, Arabic, Portuguese, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Korean, Armenian, Persian (Farsi), Japanese, Punjabi, Mon-Khmer/Cambodian, Hmong, Hindi and Thai.
- Provide services using high quality video and phone via a secure two-way connection to a video and phone interpreter 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including holidays and 24/7 on-call IT support based on the Service Level Agreement.
- Interpreter service must able to initiate interpretation video or phone calls as well as receive video or phone calls. Interpreter service must be able to accept video or phone calls, emails, and calendar invites for scheduled and on demand sessions.
- Interpretation staff will have capability of joining agency health's video/web conference platform from contractor's internet-connected endpoints (e.g., personal computers, tablets, and smartphones); agency health currently uses the following paid, licensed platforms for video/web conferencing:

- Agency staff will require no special hardware equipment beyond internet-connected, consumer-based endpoints (e.g., personal computers, tablets, smartphones), including compatible video camera, speakers, and microphone, in order to enter into a group video/web conference.
- Supplied solution will not require any private or dedicated circuits for communication, but require only an acceptable-quality internet connection.
- The estimated Budget is $2,230,000.
