Visual Interpreter Services

The Vendor is required to provide visual interpreter services to 80 college students who are legally blind, enhancing their access to academic and daily visual information.
- These challenges include navigating campus environments, accessing printed and digital materials, utilizing online learning platforms that may not be fully accessible, and engaging in classroom and social activities.
- Visual Interpreter services address these barriers by providing on-demand, real-time access to visual information, empowering students to:
•    Navigate campus environments safely and independently.
•    Access and interpret visual materials such as textbooks, handwritten notes, and online content.
•    Utilize online systems or portals that may lack full accessibility features.
•    Participate more fully in academic and social settings.
