American Sign Language Services

The Vendor is required to provide interpreting (American Sign Language) services for hospital patients.
- Services include:
•    Provide culturally competent interpretation (American Sign Language) of legal and medical information to hospital patients.
•    Interpreters adhere to standards of confidential communication and maintain ethical business practices.
•    This communication may include daily living skills information as well.
•    This function is core to providing ADA compliant care to patients.
•    Interpreters must be certified in American Sign Language.
•    Interpreters must follow any internal rules or policies at hospital. Comply with Joint Commission Standards.
