The Vendor is required to provide to establish a ready pool of Interpreters and interpreting Service providers that are capable of providing high quality Interpretation in order to accurately and seamlessly meet the office needs.
- The interpreters will assist the customers of office who have a need for interpretive services.
- Provide pre-scheduled telephone based Interpreter Services (requests typically issued 2-3 weeks in advance of hearing date) on an “as needed” basis for LEP clients needing interpreter assistance
- Available for occasional hearings scheduled prior to 8:00 AM PST, and hearings that extend beyond 5:00 PM PST.
- Willing to seek out available interpreters for urgent requests upon short notice at no additional cost to the Agency.
- Hearings shall be scheduled for a minimum duration of one (1) hour that may extend up to eight (8) continuous hours. Hearings may require services for multiple days.
- Any services provided that exceed the estimated duration from the interpreter request work order shall be paid in increments of fifteen (15) minute intervals, and the Agency shall be the official timekeeper.
- The mechanism used for timekeeping is our conference management system.
- The system tracks call start times and end times for all phone numbers that access individual conference ID’s.
