The Vendor is required to provide COBRA Administration services.
- Employees who elect COBRA are required to pay 102% of the cost of the monthly premium or premium equivalent.
- Level of Open Enrollment services requested
• Provide customer service
• Mail out open enrollment packets
• Process annual enrollment elections
• Provide eligibility/election information to vendors
- COBRA Administration Services, including but not limited to:
• Initial Notices
• Qualifying Event Notices to include City life insurance portability
• Notify vendors of enrollments and changes electronically,
• Notify vendors of terminations – specifically not allowing a participant to be enrolled longer than the allowed time period.
• Following up with vendors to ensure receipt of communications
• Handle all annual enrollment notifications and changes to participants’ elections and demographics
• Compliant with current and proposed legislation regarding continued coverage.
