The Vendor is required to provide affirmative action planning and administration services for include:
• Revise, maintain and assist in implementing a fully compliant executive order affirmative action plan.
• Provide continuing plan updates at least annually.
• Assist in monitoring all college personnel actions including initial sections, promotions, and terminations to ensure that the college is abiding by its non-discriminatory policies.
• Special emphasis is to be placed on hires vs. applicants flow in the selected job groups.
• Assist in outreach efforts to increase the level of protected class and special population applicant flow for college vacancies.
• Conduct training sessions and seminars for search chairs and search committee members as well as for other campus constituencies involved with or impacted by college policy.
• Assist in handling complaints and investigations or adjudications thereof to ensure college compliance with law and policy.
• May work directly with college counsel to ensure effective resolution of issues.
• Assist in development of policies and procedures to ensure maintenance of data appropriate to justification of all personnel actions, policies and procedures.
• Assist with compilation of support data for affirmative action reporting.
• Provide on-site presence to perform all listed functions approximately one day per week for 48 weeks per year.
• The college will provide office space for this function.
• Provide rapid consultation on urgent matters involving affirmative action policy and procedure.
