Workers Compensation Claims Services

The Vendor is required to provide managed care for workers’ compensation claims.
- Provide a group of health care providers, utilization review, and case management for self-insured workers’ compensation claims at agency.
- Recently averaged approximately 250 new claims per year, comprised of approximately 145 time-loss claims and 105 medical-only claims.
- Provide a physician group with diverse location and specialty groups to serve the injured employees with expertise in the management and treatment of occupational diseases and work related injuries.
- Shall have, maintain and provide, upon request, written standards for organization physician performance.
- Have a documented method for auditing organization physician performance.
- Credential non- organization providers, as appropriate;
- Participate in peer review activities;
- Provide a lead and back-up tracker to work with and coordinate with all parties, including both, agency and the third-party administrator (TPA).
