The Vendor is required to provide companies authorized to do business in the state and capable of providing property, liability and worker’s compensation insurances for county.
- The insured shall include all present and auxiliary law enforcement personnel (and their heirs, estates and legal representatives) on a blanket basis, as well as the County.
- The sheriff or chief deputy must approve all off-duty employment and all law enforcement functions.
- Coverage is to include an official and employee of the county serving on out-side boards where such official is serving at the request of the county.
- Prior acts coverage – Claims shall be written on a claim made basis with full prior acts coverage – current is 9.
- Named Insured – To include elected officials, all officials, and all department heads.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
