Medical Billing Coding and Self Pay Services

The vendor required to provide medical billing which includes, but is not limited to: insurance follow-up, denial management, payment posting, claim edits, coding, charge entry, registration (eligibility verification), pre-AR edits, prior authorization, along with patient self-pay services for u health and any u health operational unit.
- Cycle services are performed by revenue cycle support services (RCSS) for hospital claims, university medical billing (UMB) for physician claims, and university dermatology billing for dermatology physician billing.
- Annual medical billing volumes, percentage of that volume derived from academic medical institutions or other government sources, number of employees, average length of service of those employees and the annual employee turnover rate.
- The medical billing industry and understand and comply with all applicable state and federal laws.
- Epic multiple application (PB/HB billing and clinical) system knowledge is preferred.
- Summarize annual medical billing volumes, percentage of that volume derived from academic medical institutions or other government sources, number of employees, average length of service of those employees and the annual employee turnover rate showing both onshore and offshore along with leadership and staff.
