The vendor is required to provide the transit infrastructure fund program is administered by agency commonly referred to as metro.
- Transit Infrastructure Fund (TIF) program is intended to assist County, its municipalities and townships in improving the state of their transportation infrastructure utilized by agency
- This program focuses on improving the overall mobility of County’s residents by providing grant funds to improve and/or repair surface transportation infrastructure (primarily, but not limited to, roads, bridges and pedestrian/bicycle facilities) that are within 3/4 of a mile of agency fixed route transit in the County—excluding limited access highways
- To create exciting, immersive infrastructure improvement stories with online interactive maps and other multimedia content. The site-specific stories will include a project summary, funding information, testimonials and highlight the project conditions both before and after.
- Metro has awarded 104 grants for infrastructure projects.
- Consultant will work with metro to define and implement project objectives
• Meet with the project team to discuss content creation
• Review the known metro TIF program data
• Identify possible additional program data information sources
• Develop a solution for the web-based interactive data dashboard with an intuitive user experience (e.g. ArcGIS story map)
• Work with internal metro stakeholders (e.g. Communications and it) to ensure that the proposed solution meets metro’s overarching objectives.
• Meet with the project team to discuss interactive features
• Hold a kickoff meeting with internal stakeholders
• Collect testimonials from metro TIF project jurisdiction officials
• Develop and implement an engagement strategy to collect anecdotes and stories from households around TIF project sites
• Curate and edit stories as supportive data points to exemplify TIF project impacts
• Create clickable maps that allow users to explore the content and access detailed information for specific grant projects
• Implement interactive features within the interactive data dashboard
• Insert narratives relevant to specific TIF sites
• Incorporate pop-up windows with additional information
• Integrate multimedia elements such as photographs, videos, and interactive data visualizations
• Incorporate metro branding elements, including the logo, color palette, and official fonts, ensuring consistency with the organization's visual identity. • Conduct rigorous testing to ensure the interactive data dashboard functions correctly across multiple devices and web browsers
• Provide beta version of the interactive data dashboard to contract manager
• Engage in comprehensive beta testing to evaluate functionality and user experience of the interactive data dashboard prior to its deployment
• Promptly address any errors and issues
• Meet with the project team to discuss the results of testing and quality assurance
• Make adjustments as required
