The vendor is required to provide transportation pilot program (program) that will provide fixed route transportation service for residents on the city.
- Program requirements
• Have a fleet of vehicles ready for providing services.
• Must be able to produce the following data:
o Learned behaviors of citizens transportation needs
o Economic advantages and disadvantage of system used;
o Transportation indicators such as:
a. Cost per ride;
b. Total cost per month;
c. Popular drop-off and pick-up locations; and
d. Ambulatory or non-ambulatory status of riders. • Proper number of vehicles and staff (including program manager) to perform the service(s) applying for;
• Making commuter experience more efficient and convenient with digitalization if possible and utilizes tools or transportation software that does scheduling and produces reports
• Must hold proper insurance based on insurance requirements:
o General liability insurance
o Commercial automobile liability insurance
o Workers compensation insurance
o Abuse and molestation insurance
o Other insurance(s) applicable to services being purchased, as determined by the county.
• Route created shall emphasize access to community centers and gathering areas, health and wellness services, nutritional food hubs, transit hubs, and employment centers;
• Proposed safe and convenient stop locations;
• Applicant must be able to serve a diverse community including riders with limited english proficiency.
• Be able to accommodate ADA paratransit riders.
