Fiber Based Telecommunications Services

The Vendor is required to provide high-speed, reliable, and secure fiber-based telecommunications services to connect designated municipal locations and buildings throughout the City.
- Provide to utilize a robust fiber network that supports current and future bandwidth needs.
- The City’s intention is to use the fiber for its own LAN/WAN needs, which involves, among other uses, separating video and data into separate and distinct VLANs.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining municipal fiber networks to submit comprehensive solutions that ensure scalability, resiliency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Offeror must have entered into at least three (3) similar country based contracts in the past five (5) years which, at a minimum, include the following:
•    The average annual value of each contract exceeds five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000);
•    Each contract included the provision of dark fiber and/or managed fiber services;
•    At least one (1) of the three (3) contracts must be with a public sector entity (i.e., federal, state, provincial, or local government);
•    As to item 2(c), identify the public entity (or entities) for which the services were provided.
