The vendor is required to provide to the public safety training center will be managed by a district designated construction management representative (“construction manager”/”cm”) who will oversee all construction activities and professional services in relation to the project on behalf of the district.
- Assistance with the development of design-bid-build programming and;
- Fire life safety code studies;
- Interior space planning/design studies;
- Engineering and design site work, paving, landscaping, communications, fire protection, energy conservation systems, ADA compliance and utilities;
- Facility planning, including project programming documents;
- Development of project requirements and project scope;
- Preparation of unit guidance costs or parametric estimating;
- Analysis of project site for foundations, utilities, access and egress, constraints and identification of environmental constraints;
- Furniture fixture and equipment (“FFE”) selection and collateral equipment lists;
- Developing building commissioning requirements;
- Construction phase services including review of contractor submittals, response to contractor requests, field consultation, attending project meetings, taking and distributing meeting minutes, field observations during construction, final inspection reports and assistance with close out of punch list items;
- Warranty and project close out support;
- Record document preparation;
- Coordination and submissions agencies for project approval;
- Support services to include complete array of engineering support, including civil, structural, mechanical, fire and life safety, electrical, communications, audio visual, and other related services.
- Schematic design phase;
- Design development phase;
- Construction documents phase (including departments, and other agencies required approvals);
- Bidding and award phase;
- Construction administration phase (as driven by the construction schedule); and
- Post-construction evaluation phase.
- Project Budget is $1,300,000.00
- Contract Period/Term: 3 years
