The vendor is required to provide to transition to eBooks can be categorized under the following subheadings:
• Transitioning to eBooks will reduce the current high operational costs of acquiring physical books.
• Transitioning to eBooks will reduce the financial burden on students (as eBooks are typically cheaper than physical books).
• Transitioning to eBooks will improve university financial controls and modernize our inventory systems; and
• Transitioning to eBooks will reduce university carbon footprint and lead us towards becoming a more model sustainable campus.
