Website Migration and Hosting and Support Services

The Vendor is required to provide a website developer capable of migrating all content, or as much as possible, from the existing site.
- A webpage that leverages a proven CMS and that is readily customizable by agency staff.
- The Commission does not have a preferred CMS and is seeking proposals for migrating from the website’s existing Drupal 7 platform, which will no longer be supported as of November 2025.
- Civic Plus is moving away from the existing Drupal content management system (CMS) to their own CMS.
- Alternatives from qualified web developers to move the agency website to a new platform and migrate the existing content to the new platform.
- A new website that:
• Preserves the existing general webpage appearance and navigation structure.
• Includes all (or nearly all) content from the existing website.
• An intuitive CMS that allows staff of varying levels of experience to create/edit web pages.
• A mobile-responsive design with an intuitive menu system and user interface reflecting the existing site structure.
• A document library which staff use to curate and present agency reports, plans, maps, and other publications.
• A method for advertising agency meetings and events in a clear and effective manner.
• Integration of user way level access features and a sign-up feature for agency digital newsletter.
• Automatic website backup system and industry standard website security features.
