The Vendor is required to provide to reorganize, restructure, and redesign our main university website.
- Grounded in the principles of a public liberal arts education, we enhance career and social mobility through a focus on critical thinking and communication skills that are essential for successfully navigating the complexities of life.
- The main university web presence, website, is WordPress multisite uniting 148 websites that cover our 2 colleges, 11 academic divisions, 20 departments, and 165-ish programs, as well as all of our administrative offices and service centers.
- Our graduate school, with its additional 40 programs, is hosted separately at graduate.wou.edu. This proposal focuses on these two subdomains.
- The website is currently in its fifth incarnation.
- Our website must be usable by individuals with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, cognitive, and neurological impairments. It must meet or exceed the expectations of web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
- Closed captions must be available for all videos.
- The website must be bilingual and easily switch between English and Spanish.
