The Vendor is required to provide a website development vendor to assume the duties of hosting, support, and ongoing development of its current website.
- The current website was redesigned and relaunched in 2019, built on Drupal in partnership with our current agency which has provided ongoing hosting, support, maintenance, and development services, with these ongoing services renewed on a yearly basis.
- Agencies that can take the existing website, stripped of any proprietary tools or components specific to our current agency, and assume responsibility for hosting, support, maintenance, and development moving forward.
- The website had roughly 330,000 visitors over the past 12 months.
- Provide secure, efficient, and timely support and maintenance services for the website as it currently exists, as well as off-site hosting.
- The agency should also expect to provide ongoing development services and be able to perform tasks like building out new website functionality or enhancing existing functionality and features, addressing bugs or design flaws, and have the capacity to work with city on a potential future website redesign which, if such a project should occur, would be separately detailed at a later date.
- Assuming Support for Existing Website and Content Management System (CMS) Built on Drupal At minimum, please describe:
• Ability to support pre-existing website and CMS in its current state
• Ability to develop and build out features and functionality within the existing website as needed
• Time requirements, costs, and logistics regarding any necessary pre-work website audit to determine the preceding.
- Content Migration
• Proposed approach for any necessary migration of the website’s content as part of this transfer of support, maintenance, hosting, and development responsibilities.
- Hosting Services
• The hosting and storage services offered including average uptime, speed and response to and from hosting source, amount of storage, standard security protocols, and support.
• Outline what is needed to transfer our domain to your proposed hosting provider.
• Describe contract terms for hosting site.
- Security, Backup and Disaster Recovery Processes and Procedures
• Security, backup, version control, restore points and disaster recovery processes and procedures
• Ability to meet authority security requirements including https, SSL certificates & encryption, multi-factor authentication with single sign on for administrators, and other data points requested in the attached technology evaluation questionnaire
- Software Versioning and Updates
• Strategy for keeping the software and server(s) current with changing technology and security requirements.
• Include software release and update frequency and procedures to perform updates.
- Customer Service
• Ongoing support processes, procedures and methods.
• At a minimum, the description should identify hours of support, methods to access support, afterhours support, response time commitments, and escalation procedures.
