The Vendor is required to provide to design, implement, and test a user-friendly, modern, responsive website template that can be adapted across the airport’s three external websites.
- The website template will meet the following criteria:
• Organized, intuitive navigation.
• A mechanism to add alerts/notices on a temporary basis.
• Mobile-first, responsive layout that displays substantially the same across browsers.
• Graphic-forward, modern design that is ADA-compliant (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 standards).
• Concise and clear copy.
• Search engine optimized with quick load speeds.
• Designed and developed for in-house updating.
- The redesigned website will be hosted, by the selected Offeror, in a cloud-based environment and not on premises.
- Ensure that all proposed solutions, technologies, and architectures are compatible with cloud hosting and optimized for performance, scalability, and security in a cloud infrastructure.
- Administrative access to all website files, content management systems (CMS), hosting accounts, and source code repositories associated with the website.
- Optimize design for mobile first, then adapt for larger screen sizes and ensure consistent, high-quality design.
- All images and videos will be formatted for search engine optimization. This includes size, quality, and file format.
- The site will incorporate “friendly URLs” and allow targeting multiple friendly URLs to a single page.
- Agency must approve any third-party controls, code, or scripts before use.
- Any code accessing the database must adhere to current security practices.
- All form input shall be validated and encoded to minimize vulnerabilities such as SQL injection and Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
- Agency shall be provided a mechanism to retrieve any stored data collected by the website.
- All programming code will be thoroughly tested, and proper error handling will be provided, where applicable.
- Recommend analytics services for the sites moving forward.
- Integrations with existing systems such as parking reservations, flight information, training schedules, etc.
- Review Google Analytics for the airport’s three external websites and use the data, along with agency input, to determine each website’s intended audiences and goals.
- Develop a site map for each of the three websites. Proposed site maps do not need to match existing site maps.
- Produce three complete design concepts for agency to choose from, then fully develop the selected design template to include:
• Home pages (including alert/notices)
• Content pages
• Tables and lists
• Photo and video galleries (can be a third-party plug-in or frame)
• Maps
• Landing pages
• Other designs as needed
- Recommend analytic solution(s) and configure.
- Define search engine optimization goals and key performance indicators for each website with a plan to track utilizing HubSpot and a recommended analytics program.
- Create fresh copy for all pages.
- Produce pages for the site.
- Provide a method for updating site content via web interface.
- Provide administrative pages as necessary to allow agency staff to administer and update the site.
- Work with Airport Information Technology staff for any back-end code conversion necessary.
- Implement quality assurance testing.
- Provide knowledge transfer on the management of the hosted platform as necessary to allow agency staff to manage the site.
