The Vendor is required to provide website development firms to design, develop, and implement a stand-alone do more tourism website.
- The Do More initiative promotes visitor engagement and highlights attractions, events, and experiences throughout County across categories such as arts, recreation, learning, and service.
- Objectives
• Serve as the County’s primary digital platform for tourism promotion, separate from the County’s main government website.
• Provide a modern, interactive user experience supporting the Do More brand.
• Expand and enhance the information currently presented on the existing County webpage.
• Offer tools that allow visitors to explore activities, events, and itinerary options.
• Serve as a long-term, scalable platform owned and administered by the County.
- Interactive Map
• Displays attractions, venues, events, trails, parks, and categories of activities.
• Provides filtering (by category, area, type of activity).
• Supports click-through details for each activity/attraction (description, photos, links, directions).
• Functions smoothly on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
- “Build Your Own Itinerary” Tool
• A user-friendly tool to add, remove, save, and share selected activities.
• Ability to generate printable/exportable itineraries (PDF or email).
• Option for users to save or share itineraries via link or social media.

• Website must include at minimum:
1. Recreation
2. Learning
3. Arts
4. Service
• Each category shall have:
1. Dedicated landing page
2. Subcategory filtering options
3. SEO-friendly URLs
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• On-page optimization for all major sections.
• Meta tags, alt text, structured data, and sitemap.
• Redirect plan if migrating from an existing site.
• SEO strategy document provided at project closeout.
- Support Services
• Minimum one year of post-launch technical support
• Defined response times and resolution times
• Options for extended support beyond year one.
