The Vendor is required to provide to host the County’s website and provide a proactive approach to web development.
- Work with our internal team to ensure the website meets usability standards, offering an intuitive user experience, maintaining industry standards and optimized for user interaction utilizing available tools for a high-performing website.
- Provide a plan and provide comprehensive support during migration including post migration testing & confirmation of existing website properties from current production infrastructure onto new hosting services with as little downtime as possible in a coordinated fashion.
- Provide production and non-production environments to support changes such as upgrades or large website asset changes.
- Provide website availability service level guarantees for website excluding planned maintenance.
- Provide proof of infrastructure and Software security measures are enabled for website hosting server services. Examples include:
• Proactive threat detection and protection (firewalls).
• Regular vulnerability scans and patch management.
• Antivirus and intrusion preventions that reduce risk of data leakage or unauthorized access.
• Ability to activate Single Sign-on or two-factor authentication for administrative accounts.
- Provide a regular software maintenance schedule for server and application that is coordinated with the County.
- The solution must provide a reliable mechanism to restore services in the event of:
• User Error (e.g., accidental deletion or misconfiguration); and data corruption (e.g., system or application-level corruption) with minimum data loss and availability.
- Pro-active monitoring and maintenance, problem resolution through the ability to provide and address unexpected issues such as slow site performance, public access problems, WordPress Dashboard accessibility, and site outages.
- Average page load time must not exceed 2 seconds under normal traffic conditions.
- Ability to configure website log entries, revision control, for troubleshooting purposes. The logs should contain the following information:
• Event ID
• Date & Time
• User ID that triggered event
• Resources Accessed
• Application Interface used
• Field Modification Information (Field Name, Old Value, New Value).
- Ability to add functionality with modern tools and approaches.
- Ensure site is updated with up-to-date tools and best practices are applied to the global site.
- API Keys should adhere the following requirements:
• Minimize their generation
• Ability to define expiry date (period)
• Should not be hardcoded.
