Drupal Maintenance and Development Services

The Vendor is required to provide ongoing Drupal maintenance, security updates, system administration support, and development services for two websites: a public facing website, and an internal intranet site restricted to agency employees.
- Drupal is a web-based content management system with standard features, like easy content authoring, reliable performance, and excellent security. As with all content management systems, Drupal also requires significant backend maintenance and customization that includes, but is not limited to, database administration, system module updates, customization (modules, views and content types), security and version updates, and web server administration.
- Responsible for:
•    Upgrading the site to Drupal 11;
•    Providing ongoing maintenance and support services; and
•    Developing, updating, and installing modules, content types, and views as necessary.
- The current site consists of basic HTML pages utilizing CAA styles, JavaScript, image sliders, and HTML forms. It is not currently managed within a Content Management System (CMS).
- The existing site includes approximately:
•    2,000 HTML pages, and
•    8,139 documents (e.g., PDF, Word, Excel files).
•    Development of a Drupal-based version of CourtNet began under Contract K23- 0050-26O, awarded to Fantail Consulting & Technologies, LLC on August 31, 2023. While Drupal content types and views have been developed and the site was migrated to a non-production Drupal 10 server, the Successful Offeror will be required to assist with final migration and updating content and data from the current non-Drupal site into the Drupal platform.
- Drupal Maintenance and Security Support
o    Provide ongoing maintenance and support services to ensure the Drupal environment remains secure, stable, and up to date. Services shall include, but are not limited to:
o    Assisting with routine Drupal core updates and version upgrades, including updating the sites to Drupal 11 and future major releases as applicable.
o    Assisting and providing support to the agency in installing Drupal core and contributed module updates on at least a quarterly basis, along with any recommended or required security patches.
o    Monitoring and advising the agency regarding security advisories and critical updates.
o    Providing detailed, step-by-step written instructions for implementing updates on production servers, as production updates must be performed by agency staff.
o    Supporting testing and validation of updates in development and test environments prior to deployment to production.
o    Maintaining current Drupal versions and promptly applying security patches is critical to minimizing cybersecurity risks and protecting these essential systems. Agency uses Gitlab for source code versioning for both sites.
- Backend System Administration and Customization
•   Drupal system requires significant backend maintenance and customization.
- Provide guidance on best practices for Drupal architecture, performance optimization, and system stability within the agency internally hosted environment.
