eGIS Web Application Integrated Report Generation Platform

The Vendor is required to provide GIS web application integrated informational report generation platform based upon adobe ColdFusion and hosted from the city’s on-premises web servers.
- Requirement:
1. Stakeholder involvement
• Features of the cold fusion reports (CFR) platform in egis and ArcGIS online (AGOL) are most useful, regularly used, or important to the execution of the stakeholder’s portfolio of work, and how often is each feature used
• Features of the CFR platform and AGOL are cumbersome or inconvenient, and what improvements does the stakeholder desire or suggest.
• Data, data-driven information and answers, reports, or functions would be helpful to the stakeholder that do not currently exist within the CFR platform or AGOL, considering not only data currently available in GIS, but also data owned by the city not incorporated in to GIS or data that may be available from a third party.
• Considering the information gleaned from stakeholders, identify and categorize themes, particular needs, and rank individual and collective priorities for improvement and new functions to be incorporated into the replacement reports platform for egis and into AGOL.
• Produce and deliver a formal report of the stakeholder involvement process, findings, and recommendations for a replacement web-based report generation platform and AGOL streamlining.
- eGIS reports platform development:
• Conceptual narrative describing how the reports platform will be configured and how it will function, including an outline of end user interaction and administrator interaction with the platform
• Software
• Services
• Development platform and code languages
• Network and internet protocols
• Framework for administration and maintenance
• Obtain client input on approach via a documented formal comment and response process
• Obtain client approval of approach.
• Documentation must be comprehensive but not unnecessarily detailed, assuming general understanding of: ESRI GIS desktop, web, and enterprise software and services; web and network administration; enterprise data management system design and administration.
