Refuse Collection and Disposal Services

The vendor is required to provide that refuse collection and disposal services for the pickup and disposal of all non-hazardous refuse in accordance with regulations.
- It houses estimated 3,000 inmates inside the secure perimeter and houses approximately 300 inmates in a minimum-security complex called Greensville work center which is outside the main secure perimeter.
- Main complex
• Two 35 cubic yard self-contained compactors with multi-cycle timer is located at the sally port inside the secure perimeter.
• The ability to accommodate self-dumping frontload hoppers (wright-McCullough self-dumping steel fork lift hopper model 20099) that the facility has purchased to transfer refuse.
• One 35 cubic yard self-contained compactors with multi-cycle timer is located outside the secure perimeter.
• This compactor shall have the ability to accommodate self-dumping frontload hoppers (wright- McCullough self-dumping steel fork lift hopper model 20099) that the facility has purchased to transfer refuse.
• One 30 cubic yard roll-off container located at building and grounds shop
• One 30 cubic yard roll-off container located at building and grounds shop
• One 30 cubic yard self-contained compactor with multi-cycle timer located behind the boiler plant
- Yarden farm
• One 30 cubic yard-self-contained compactor with multi-cycle timer and dog house
• One 30 cubic yard roll-off container located at yarden farm
- All equipment provided shall be well maintained and kept clean so that offensive odors are minimized.

- Greensville correctional center reserves the right to request that the replace any equipment it deems unsightly or unclean to the point of causing a nuisance to employees in the judgement of Greensville buildings and grounds department.
