Solid Waste Facilities Technical Support and Design Services

The Vendor is required to provide solid waste facilities technical support and design services will include technical support, design services, and assistance on all aspects of facility operations and design for solid waste operations in the event facility upgrades and/or replacements are needed.
- Services include:
• Design of wastewater pretreatment facilities at a transfer station, and support for pretreatment installation and implementation
• Recommendations, feasibility analyses, engineering calculations and report preparation, and design for wastewater pretreatment upgrades at a transfer station
• Planning, design and construction support of storm water facilities, including green storm water infrastructure at a transfer station, and support for treatment installation, operations, and ongoing maintenance
• Real estate planning, environmental due diligence, facility siting, and alternative analyses
• Agency and regulatory negotiation support
• Design and construction support for the replacement of transfer station industrial compactors
• Design, recommendations, and construction support for hazardous waste container replacement for moderate-risk waste facilities.
• Planning, recommendations, and design for modifications and/or replacement of transfer station backup generators.
• Solar power feasibility, planning, design, and implementation at landfills or transfer station facilities.
• Facility wayfinding, signage, and other display planning, design and implementation
• Public fact sheets and other communications related support  - Anticipated deliverables:
• Engineering Reports, Plans & Specifications
• Feasibility Studies
• Figures (GIS, CAD, etc.)
• Technical Memoranda
• Tables, meetings minutes, presentation materials
• Sampling and monitoring plans
• Real estate plans.
