- The services should focus on enhancing writing instruction through evidence-based feedback approaches in conferences and small groups.
- By the conclusion of this professional learning partnership, participating educators will:
• Knowledge development:
o Demonstrate understanding of the five research-based conditions that accelerate writing achievement.
o Articulate the connection between effective feedback and student writing progress.
o Identify appropriate instructional approaches for their specific grade level.
• Instructional practice:
o Successfully implement at least three new feedback strategies during writing conferences.
o Organize and facilitate effective small group writing instruction.
o Structure classroom time to provide the recommended minimum of 30 minutes daily writing instruction.
o Utilize goal-setting frameworks with students to guide writing development.
• Student impact:
o Document improvement in student writing samples using established rubrics
o Observe increased student engagement during writing instruction.
o Note growth in student ability to provide and receive peer feedback.
o Track increased student independence in applying writing strategies.
• School-wide advancement:
o Develop grade-level consistency in writing instruction approaches.
o Create shared vocabulary and methods for writing feedback across classrooms.

- The consultant will provide six (6) full-day on-site sessions structured as follows:
• Two (2) sessions dedicated to grades k-2 educators.
• Two (2) sessions dedicated to grades 3-5 educators.
• Two (2) sessions dedicated to grades 6-8 educators
- Each session will incorporate a blend of:
• Presentation and workshop components.
• Classroom demonstration lessons.
