The vendor is required to provide grant writing and grant evaluation services to support its pursuit of grant-funded opportunities.
- Responsibility for the following:
• Researching and writing grants and preparing grant applications.
• Grant applications will be written for the provision of mental health services or such related services as deemed applicable.
• Evaluation of grants awarded to office.
• Grants awarded will be provided for the provision of mental health services or such related services as deemed applicable.
- Grant writing service
• Identify the intended audience for the grant proposal.
• Understand the purpose of office grant proposal.
• Gather statistical data and other relevant information about the subject of the grant proposal.
• Choose the appropriate type of grant proposal.
• Participate in meetings with key office staff during the contract period as needed to facilitate the completion of the deliverable.
• Write, revise, edit, and proof-read the grant proposal as per the request for applications (RFA), notice of funding availability (NOFA), or other solicitation.
• Format the grant proposal.
• Assist, when necessary, with preparation of the budget associated with the grant proposal.
• Assist, when necessary, with preparation of final grant application documentation and with coordination of grant package preparation, including but not limited to, preparing appropriate numbers of copies, or other submission expectations.
• Provide all documentation within mutually agreed upon timeframes.
- Grant evaluation service
• Review the grant proposal and award and select an appropriate evaluation design and measures.
o Identify relevant baseline and pre-intervention data, as applicable.
o Identify outcomes and impacts that can be effectively and efficiently measured.
• Develop instruments and an effective and efficient data collection strategy and plan.
o Develop, organize, and pilot-test data collection instruments.
o Implement the ongoing collection and management of evaluation data.
o Ensure all data required for local and national evaluation is collected.
o Develop any additional valid and reliable surveys or questions added to current surveys, Interview protocols, or other desired instruments resulting from the review process.
o Analyze quantitative data using statistical methods including univariate, bi-variate, and multivariate techniques.
o Translate instruments into applicable languages as appropriate.
• Obtain institutional review board (IRB) approval, if applicable.
o Develop instruments and participant protection procedures as required.
• Provide training as appropriate and necessary.
o Conduct local performance assessment and annual written performance assessment.
• Provide written evaluation reports, including evaluative data reports, to meet grant expectations.
• Prepare final grant evaluation documentation and coordinate grant evaluation report preparation, including, but not limited to, preparing appropriate numbers of copies, or other submission expectations.
• Provide all documentation within mutually agreed upon timeframes.
