Broadband Planning Grant Writing Infrastructure and Systems Solutions

The Vendor is required to provide to establish vendor eligibility for projects through competitively negotiated contracts for the procurement of broadband planning, broadband grant writing, and broadband infrastructure and systems solutions throughout state.
- Broadband Planning
•    State and Federal Funding Alignment
o    Provide strategic guidance for State and Federal funding opportunities
•    Feasibility Assessment
o    Evaluate current broadband infrastructure and market conditions to support sound business decision making
•    Technical Planning
o    Develop a detailed proposal with design, schedule, and cost estimates for broadband deployment
•    Strategic Planning
o    Develop a community/other Broadband Strategic Plan Guide
o    Create a customized plan to help an entity become an Internet Service Provider
- Broadband Grant Writing Consulting
•    Broadband Grant Writing Consultant Services are intended to support Federal and/or other broadband infrastructure grant and/or loan funding opportunities for broadband projects that will be implemented in state.
•    The Broadband Grant Writing Contractor work must be compliant with the technical specifications set forth by the applicable grant program pursued by the Procuring Agency.
- Broadband Infrastructure and Systems Solutions
•    Deploy complete broadband infrastructure and systems solutions that provide scalable, dependable, sustainable, cost-effective fiber/cable and wireless high-speed internet connectivity that meets the commission’s baseline bandwidth.
•    Must be able and willing to:
o    Provide access to a broadband network;
o    Ensure network meets industry reliability standards;
o    Use existing infrastructure when appropriate for cost-savings;
o    Apply for federal broadband infrastructure grant and/or loan funding opportunities;
o    Meet all applicable federal and state requirements for any portion of the project funded by federal or state sources: and,
o    Other restrictions may apply.
