The Vendor is required to provide to research and identify new grant opportunities and to prepare applications for financial assistance.
- Research and identification of new grant funding will include opportunities from local, state, and federal funding agencies.
- Development and preparation of funding applications will be performed by the contractor as opportunities become available and as City Management decides to pursue those funding opportunities.
- This may include a review of relevant short term and long ranges plans, infrastructure plans, and operational plans.
- Develop, prepare, and submit applications for financial assistance as directed by City staff, including but not limited to gathering the necessary information and supporting materials for the application, composing project/program narratives, and preparing grant budgets.
- This phase will be a coordinated effort between the contractor and City staff and may include the contractor entering the grant application into the applicable grant website/portal.
- Conduct further review and analysis of grant funding opportunities as directed by City staff to include a thorough understanding of the grant requirements and application.
- Establish a timeline for development and preparation of applications for financial assistance based on City staff direction regarding grant applications to be submitted.
- Work with City staff to identify the necessary information and supporting materials for the application, and to ensure applications are submitted accurately and timely.
