The Vendor is required to provide professional grant writing and related grant management services.
- Grant Research and Identification
• Identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with County priorities.
• Provide a monthly grant opportunity report with deadlines and eligibility requirements.
• Advise County staff on feasibility and competitiveness.
- Grant Writing and Application Development
• Prepare and draft complete grant applications, including narratives, budgets, attachments, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with County departments to gather required data and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with funding guidelines and submission requirements.
• Submit applications electronically or assist with submission as required.
• Attend Commissioners Court, workshops, or any meeting required by the grantor if need be.
- Budget Development
• Prepare detailed grant budgets and budget narratives with oversight from the Budget Officer and County Auditor
• Ensure compliance with 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance), as applicable, and any other applicable procurement regulations and policies.
- Post-Award Support (Optional/As Needed)
• Assist with grant agreement review.
• Develop reporting templates and compliance checklists.
• Provide support for quarterly and annual performance reports.
• Assist with grant amendments or extensions.
- Training and Capacity Building
• Provide annual training for County staff on grant readiness, compliance, and best practices.
• Develop internal grant management tools and templates.
