The Vendor is required to provide career exploration assessment services including an assessment and individual career exploration reports.
- The assessment must identify careers, strengths, stress behaviors, motivational needs, and an ideal work environment for vocational rehabilitation (VR) customers.
- The assessment must be applicable but not limited to customers with autism, attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual developmental delays, and learning disabilities.
- The VR Program, which is a joint state and federally funded program to assess, plan, develop, and provide VR services for eligible individuals with disabilities, consistent with their unique strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests, and informed choice so that these individuals can prepare for and engage in competitive integrated employment and achieve economic self-sufficiency.
- Ability to generate approximately one thousand (1,000) annual career exploration reports that produces accurate and valuable results for users.
- Ability to identify careers, strengths, stress behaviors, and motivational needs.
- An accessible online format with the flexibility to complete assessment at user’s home or at counselor offices.
- Ability to allow users to take assessment in phases and stop assessment, save progress, and resume from last question answered.
- Ability to request technical support communication channels for users to ask questions or request assistance via help desk, email, online chat, clear instructions for troubleshooting common issues, or a dedicated accessibility hotline.
- Robust data collection and reporting capabilities including but not limited to:
• Individual reporting that is easy to read and interpret,
• Providing practical, personalized, and specific information on users,
• Assessing behavioral traits, motivation, stress, and the occupational interests of the users and provide, at a minimum, evaluation of career interests and work environment needs,
• Identifying strengths, stress behaviors, usual behavior patterns in relating to others, possible challenges, handling conflict, work motivations, and discussing how to approach job interviews, and
• Reporting available within three (3) business days after assessment is completed.
