The Vendor is required to provide developed an Asset Management ("AM") Implementation Plan in 2018 with the objective of developing AM strategy, policy, data standards and procedures for existing deployed systems.
- Planned outcomes, from the AM Implementation, were to enable the Department to record, map, analyze and manage assets data and operations through standardized specifications for building information modeling ("BIM"), computer-aided design ("CAD"), geographic information system ("GIS") and computerized maintenance management systems ("CMMS").
- Providing support for the enhancement of Trimble CityWorks
• Enhance, manage, and upgrade existing Cityworks deployment (current version 15.8.9).
• Facilitate requirements gathering for new inspections/workflows.
• Identify GIS data requirements for the development of additional inspections.
• Develop new or modify existing inspection processes.
• Demonstrate capabilities to develop custom configurations that introduce functionality, and/or the dynamic exchange of information with the act and/or other third parties.
- Providing Spatial Data Management
• Develop GIS and BIM content in alignment with in-place EIM policy and process.
• Use existing LiDAR data to develop BIM architectural models.
• Use BIM to create lease exhibits and provide spatial exhibit support.
• Meet with stakeholders to advance EIM standards, and revise EIM standards, as necessary.
• Sustain existing or develop new processes to enhance spatial data accuracy and enable consistency across spatial data platforms (GIS and BIM).
- Providing Digital Transformation
• Provide Planning, design, implementation, and support of digital solutions with business process automation, cloud migration and infrastructure modernization, data analytics & business intelligence, customer experience and digital interfaces, change management and training.
o Identify and define business needs, use cases, user roles, and access levels.
o Determine document types, formats, and metadata requirements.
o System Architecture & Design.
o Migrate relevant legacy documentation.
o Provide Training and Standards.
o Develop materials and facilitate training for Department personnel in GIS, Revit (BIM), and CityWorks processes.
o Facilitate and/or provide training, including in-person/instructor led, and/or on-demand training for end users.
o Work with stakeholders to understand requirements.
o Develop Standard Operation Procedures ("SOP"s), as necessary.
o Provide training staff on new processes and procedures.
• Provide Technology Assessment of in-place systems, gap analysis and roadmap development.
- Providing Training and Standards
• Develop materials and facilitate training for Department personnel in GIS, Revit (BIM), and CityWorks processes.
• Facilitate and/or provide training, including in-person/instructor led, and/or on-demand training for end users.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Develop SOPs, as necessary.
- Providing Document Management Support
• Requirements gathering to identify business needs and use cases.
• Define user roles and access levels.
• Determine document types, formats, and metadata requirements.
• System Architecture & Design
• Migrate relevant legacy documentation
• Provide document control organization, maintenance and support, as needed.
