Defense Industry Investment Plan Services

The Vendor is required to provide Consultants with expertise in attracting investments from the aerospace, defence, and security industry while supporting local businesses to participate in the defence procurement supply chain.
- Required to assist the Investment Attraction team with generating a qualified pipeline of Aerospace & Defence (A&D) investment leads in alignment with the County's target geographic markets and aerospace and defence sub-sectors.
- Convert leads into active projects through hands-on in-market business development assistance at priority events and engage in local business Diversification.
- Must provide:
•    Support with the creation of appropriate, relevant, and customized marketing collateral
•    Attend meetings throughout the year, and at conferences, to support defence investment attraction efforts.
•    Deepen relationships with defence prime contractors and their tier suppliers by arranging meetings and defence conferences and providing follow-up summaries and action items.
•    Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) and regional partner coaching and information sessions as required.
- Local Business Diversification
•    Assist the business retention and support team with strengthening local business retention and expansion efforts by preparing SMES to diversify into the A&D supply chain (readiness, certification guidance, ITB awareness, etc.).
•    SMB workshop to educate local businesses on aerospace & defence sector and how they can diversify into these industries.
•    Assisting one on one with select businesses to prepare them for diversifying into the aerospace & defence sector by supplying advice and direction for their specific businesses.
•    Attend various events and meetings throughout the year, to support sector specific investment attraction efforts.
