Citywide Security Guard Services

The vendor is required to provide citywide security guard services for various city.
- The provision of high-quality security services using armed and unarmed mobile/roving security officers, twenty-four (24) hours a day, three hundred and sixty-five (365) days a year.
- Security guard service provider is to deliver reliable and professional security services that assure safe and secure environments for customers and employees visiting or working at city facilities.
- Securing premises and personnel by: patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment and access points; permitting entry; preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities; warning violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers; completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures, etc.
- All security related functions involving the public, it cannot be overemphasized that the impression created by the security guards in the performance of their duties has a direct impact on visitors’, citizens’ and employees’ opinion of both the city and the department or agency being protected.
- Security staff actions must be assertive, yet respectful and executed in a manner that elicits the confidence of persons being protected.
- Security staff must be professional, vigilant, alert, courteous and tactful at all times.
- A positive greeting is essential.
- Should police response be required, guards shall call the city police department for assistance.
- Contract Period/Term: 5 years
