Campus Security Services

The Vendor is required to provide uniformed security officers for general and special security services.
- The hours and nature of their duties will vary from time to time to meet the College’s needs.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must have integrity, be qualified and experienced in an educational environment.
- Be able to perform all essential functions required or implied of a security officer.
- Security officers are required to undergo drug testing and may be required to undergo a polygraph test.
- Security Officers must have firsthand knowledge of Public Safety and Crime Prevention issues and be empowered to offer suggestions to the Department.
- Must provide an account manager on site to inspect, assist and evaluate performance of security personnel assigned to the College. 
- The inspections must be made semi – monthly basis covering the various shifts.
- Must be capable of managing and supervising the overall work 24 hours per day.
- Security officers are required to lock and unlock campus facilities, check chillers, boilers and various classrooms and offices. Provide motor vehicle assistance - jump starts, air in tires, lockouts, etc.
- Patrolling the campus grounds ensuring all buildings are secured and reporting any suspicious activities.
