The vendor required to provide security fire alarm video surveillance services for monitoring services (fire, security and call systems), installation and repair of alarm equipment and systems, provision of electronic access control systems, provision, repair and maintenance of video surveillance cameras as needed; as well as specialty equipment (such as, but not limited to, license plate readers).
- Central station alarm monitoring
• Provide contracted central station alarm monitoring services from, a central station that is united laboratories (“ul”) and the monitoring association (“TMA”) listed, bearing a central station fire alarm service certificate or central station burglar alarm service certificate, as applicable for the services contracted for and is complaint with and adheres to the national fire protection association code 72, national fire alarm and signaling code (“NFPA 72”).
• The proposer shall monitor the security and fire alarm systems seven days per week, twenty-four hours per day, three hundred sixty-five days per year.
• The proposer shall program all security alarm systems to ensure all signals are transmitted to the remote certified commercial central monitoring station.
• This includes, but is not limited to all alarm event signals, all opening and closing signals, all supervisory and trouble signals and restorations.
• Some security alarms require immediate dispatch of police, while others require prior verification before dispatch to confirm or deny the validity of the alarm signal received.
• Facility and security representatives with special instructions regarding development and implementation of security alarm verification and dispatch procedures
• The proposer is responsible for all costs associated with assuming responsibility for security and fire alarm monitoring services including all programming and reprogramming of alarm panels and systems, downloading or otherwise obtaining alarm point and other signal information, and the creation of alarm system accounts at the remote certified commercial central monitoring station.
• Due to the critical nature of monitoring security and fire alarm systems, the proposer shall maintain continuous monitoring without interruption.
