The Vendor is required to provide the furnishing, installation, configuration, and commissioning of an integrated security alarm system, video surveillance system, and supporting data/network infrastructure for the County.
- Provide to enhance facility security, monitoring, and network reliability while supporting future scalability.
- Security Alarm System
• Network- and cellular-enabled alarm control panel
• Multiple wall-mounted touchpad keypads for system access and control
• Long-range motion detectors and standard interior motion sensors
• Door and entry point contact sensors, including overhead door contacts
• Wireless and hardwired sensors as required to provide full building coverage
• System programming, zoning, and testing
• Integration with an interactive monitoring service
• The system shall be fully operational upon completion and configured to support remote monitoring and alerts.
- Video Surveillance System
• Central data rack for camera and network equipment
• Network video recorder with high-capacity storage suitable for extended video retention
• Combination of fixed IP cameras and pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras for interior and exterior coverage
• Smart tracking functionality where applicable
• Proper camera placement to provide coverage of building entrances, loading areas, overhead doors, and critical interior spaces
• Camera configuration, testing, and optimization for clarity, motion detection, and night
• Operation
• All cameras shall be securely mounted, labeled, and integrated into the recording and monitoring system.
- Data and Network Infrastructure
• Structured CAT6 cabling to support cameras, access points, and system devices
• Power over Ethernet (PoE) network switch
• Wireless access points to support point-to-point connectivity where required
• Network configuration to ensure secure and reliable communication between devices
• Cable management, labeling, and termination consistent with industry standards
- Installation and Labor
• Mount, connect, and secure all equipment
• Run and terminate cabling
• Program and configure systems
• Test all components for proper operation
• Coordinate installation activities to minimize disruption to facility operations
- System Testing and Commissioning
• Perform functional testing of all alarm zones, cameras, and network connections
• Verify communication with monitoring services
• Confirm camera recording, playback, and remote viewing capabilities
• Provide a system walkthrough with County representatives.
