The Vendor is required to provide security services for the office, schools and center locations.
- Personnel structure and supervision
• One assigned officer will serve as a working supervisor and coordinate closely with school administration to maintain a comprehensive security program, including coverage for athletics and events.
• Full-time employees assigned to the district shall not work at other offeror locations unless approved in writing by the district.
- Background checks and compliance
• The offeror must conduct sled background checks on all guards quarterly.
• The district may request copies of background checks at any time.
• Guards with unsatisfactory checks must be removed immediately.
• Any guard arrested or charged with a crime must be removed from duty and reported to the district immediately.
- Duties and responsibilities of security personnel
• Perform routine patrols of all parking lots at agreed intervals (no vehicle towing permitted).
• Conduct required foot patrols of designated areas.
• Monitor metal detectors during school hours, athletic events, and special events.
• Maintain a daily activity log of significant events.
• Perform additional agreed-upon duties and provide recommendations to improve security.
- Authority limitations
• Personnel shall not make arrests or detentions.
• Personnel shall not sign complaints on behalf of the district.
• Personnel shall not accept legal services on behalf of the district, staff, or students.
