The Vendor is required to provide a robust, cloud/SaaS-based provider referral system to connect medicaid members seeking services with providers offering those services and matching the member’s specific needs.
- Provide a referral system that meets the objectives and requirements.
- The overarching objectives and requirements of the system are the following:
• The new referral system will need to be purchased, implemented and on boarded to staff by September 1, 2025 unless a different go-live date is approved the county.
• Provide onboarding training (either in person or by video).
• Provide ongoing technical support.
• The agency prefers that the referral system is an established system versus being a pilot software.
• The provider referral system should serve as the communication, tracking and fulfillment mechanism for the agency case managers submitting referral requests to providers.
• In addition to supporting the processing of referral requests and responses, the system should also provide the ability to manage member data ongoing as new members become eligible or existing members experience changes.
• The system should provide the ability to manage provider data as new providers become eligible, commence or cease specific services or become ineligible.
• The system is also expected to include a comprehensive dashboard/portal that provides views of referral requests and responses, aggregated data and ability to filter, sort, export data and create reports.
