Court Reporting Services

The vendor is required to provide complete court reporting and transcription services for evidentiary hearings, public hearings, and other proceedings statewide, when needed.
- Provide to obtain statewide court reporter services for virtual and in person hearings and other formal proceedings before the commission, and depositions in court cases to which the agency is a party.
- The reporter will furnish all equipment, materials, and supplies necessary and incident to the performance of this contract, other than a chair and table, which the agency will provide at the site where the reporting will take place.

- The reporter will obtain all official permits and licenses required for the performance of the work embraced in this contract; and the reporter agrees in the course of its duties under this contract to comply with the law and constitution of the state
- Transcripts must be twenty-five lines per 8/1/2 x 11-inch, 20-pound long grain paper for use in high-speed copiers, laser printers, and plain paper faxes.
- No fewer than nine and no more than ten characters per inch of text. 
- No fewer than fifty-four and no more than sixty characters per standard line of text. 
- Transcript text must be times new roman 12-point type, no fewer than nine characters per inch, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the agency.
- For general rate cases only, hard copy transcripts must be hole-punched for insertion in standard threering binders and be printed with black letters on white paper.
- Must use a tape recorder back-up and must keep a copy of the back-up tape plus a back-up disk copy of the transcript for a period of one year after the transcript is submitted to the agency.
