The vendor is required to provide design, permitting, procurement, integration, installation, and commissioning of four new outdoor digital video boards at the center.
- Outdated outdoor digital signage with modern, fully integrated, high-performance outdoor digital displays that align with the city’s branding and sign standards and are fully compatible with the center’s existing “22 miles” signage system
- Design development
• Following approval of initial concepts and schematic design, the proposer shall develop full design development documentation for the outdoor signage system.
• Two design alternatives shall be submitted, each including technical specifications and pricing menu options and comparisons.
• Digital mock-ups or renderings must reflect the final visual design, finish, and framing.
• Final integration plans with the '22 miles' platform should be presented, detailing hardware and software interfaces and control systems.
• The proposer will identify all electrical and data cabling needs and finalize structural anchoring solutions inclusive of wind load calculations, as needed.
• A 100% design development package, including layout plans, product specifications, and labor and materials cost estimates, must be submitted for review.
• A minimum of two additional review meetings with agency and the city will be held to resolve feedback and finalize the design.
- Final 100% documents
• The proposer shall prepare and submit 100% stamped documents for the fabrication and installation of the new signage that includes structural details and load calculations, electrical, low-voltage, and signage control diagrams.
• Comprehensive written technical specifications and scope narratives must be provided, along with a final breakdown of all labor and material costs required to deliver a complete project.
• The proposer will coordinate with the city’s review and permitting departments to ensure compliance and secure all necessary approvals and permits.
• Proposer is solely responsible for payment of plan check, permit, and required inspection fees associated with this project.
• Two meetings with agency and city representatives will be conducted to finalize the construction documentation, with the proposer responsible for addressing all plan review comments.
- Project administration, project completion, and project closeout
• The proposer will manage all aspects of the project, including but not limited to, procurement, fabrication, installation, systems testing, commissioning, and project closeout.
• During the preinstallation phase, the proposer will mobilize their team, develop a schedule coordinated with ongoing center operations, verify all utility connections, and deliver site logistics and safety plans.
• The installation phase will include removal and disposal of all existing signage, structural mounting, installation of new digital boards, electrical and data connectivity, and integration with the '22 miles' platform.
• Once operational, the proposer will conduct on-site training for center staff, covering content control, remote access, and troubleshooting.
• Documentation including user manuals, warranties, and system diagrams must be provided for successful project closeout.
• The project will conclude with a final walkthrough, punch list resolution, as-built documentation, and formal acceptance by agency and the city.
