The Vendor is required to provide creative graphic designers/installers to produce approximately 10 to 12 unique, large-format graphic collage installations for a new County facility.
- Graphic designers or firms with a demonstrated ability to create compelling visual compositions from photographic assets, and who can collaborate with project stakeholders throughout the design and implementation process.
- Pre-select a graphic designer who will work closely with the County and its design team to develop imagery aligned with three overarching themes (to be defined by the County).
- The graphic designer and installer will be responsible for the following:
1. Initial Concept Meetings:
• Collaborate with the County early in the process to understand vision, goals, and confirm the three core graphic themes
• Review available photographic assets; advise on any additional imagery needs Design:
• Produce at least two conceptual design options per panel to facilitate iterative feedback and selection
• Create 10–12 digitally composed graphic collages that reflect the agreed thematic direction and harmonize with architectural context
• Coordinate with the architectural team to review floor plans and identify appropriate art placement locations within the building during Design Development
2. Review and Refinement Process:
• To establish a clear and collaborative design workflow, the following review structure will be followed:
• Submission of two concept options per panel with proposed signage material options
• Consolidated feedback from County-appointed review group; revisions as needed
• Final refinements submitted for formal approval
3. Stakeholder Coordination and Site Engagement:
• Attend coordination meetings with the architectural team and participate in key site visits
• Collaborate with a County-appointed review group (e.g., Capital Projects staff, community representatives, design professionals) throughout concept development, construction, and installation.
4. Installation and Construction:
• Review relevant submittals and RFIs issued during the construction phase to ensure alignment with design intent
• Provide timely responses or clarifications related to graphic scope, material integrity, or installation requirements
5. Fabrication Oversight and Installation Management:
• Coordinate with County and Design Build Contractor to ensure correct fabrication specs, production, and installation quality
• Be available to support on-site installation activities and troubleshoot design implementation if necessary
6. Post-Installation Review:
• Support final walkthrough and acceptance
• Make recommendations for minor post-installation adjustments to maintain artistic integrity.
