The Vendor is required to provide a modern electric distribution design software solution that will support the organization’s transition to ESRI’S utility network model.
- Identify and acquire a flexible, scalable platform capable of supporting design workflows for electric distribution, transmission, and fiber, all within a centralized engineering environment.
- Software should:
• Enhance design capabilities,
• Streamline engineering workflows,
• Improve the accuracy and accessibility of design data,
• Support future interoperability with authority enterprise systems, including the ESRI Geographic Information System (GIS), Service Link Work Management System (WMS), and cogsdale Financial Management System (FMS).
- Software Provisioning:
• Supply or coordinate delivery of the approved design software (AUD or designer xi), including necessary supporting software, modules, and extensions.
• Provide all licensing and subscription details, including any third-party software dependencies (e.g., Esri extensions, middleware).
- Licensing and documentation:
• Provide comprehensive licensing agreements, terms of use, and documentation for the proposed software solution.
• All required user licenses, associated maintenance agreements, and renewal terms.
- System compatibility:
• Confirm full compatibility of the proposed design software with ESRI’S utility network.
• Identify any required modifications or dependencies related to authority existing it infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft SQL server, VMware-based environment).
• Specify whether a VMware-based deployment or local (end-user machine) deployment, if available, is recommended and shall justify how their recommended approach supports performance, scalability, and maintainability within authority environment.
• If proposing a cloud-hosted or hybrid deployment model vendor shall outline the proposed architecture, including infrastructure needs, benefits, and considerations for data security, performance, and GIS integration.
• List and detail any recommended hardware or supporting software required for deployment, with clear notes on compatibility with authority virtualized environment and any cloud hosting dependencies.
- Cost Breakdown:
• Provide a detailed cost breakdown for software licensing, modules, extensions, and any optional components that might be included.
• Any recurring costs such as annual maintenance, subscription, or hosting fees.
• Outline separate pricing scenarios for on-premises or cloud based deployment models, as applicable.
