The Vendor is required to provide GIS design services for the creation of a utility network in ArcGIS Pro from existing feature classes currently in the City’s geometric network in ArcGIS desktop.
- Provide building a Utility Network in ESRI ArcGIS Pro software of the sewer system, both gravity system (storm, sanitary and combined sewers) and force mains.
- Create the utility network or networks using the vetted feature classes. Create the domain network or networks and configure all asset groups and types. Set up rules and associations for all features.
- Data Acquisition and Preparation
• This task includes all efforts necessary to compile, review, organize, and prepare the existing GIS data needed to create the utility network or networks.
• Including but not limited to cleaning up the data; adding/deleting fields and/or domains, reconnecting orphaned assets, standardizing attribute values, removing/resolving duplicate features and/or flagging issues that need further investigation, classifying all data from the geometric network and matching it to the appropriate domains in the utility network.
- Establish the Utility Network and Migrate Data
• The consultant shall create the utility network/networks necessary using the appropriate domain network/networks for the datasets developed.
• This includes but is not limited to sanitary sewers, storm sewers, combined sewers, force main systems and various sewer appurtenances.
• Setting up all rules and associations necessary.
• Consultant shall configure all subnetwork controllers and tiers as needed.
• Data is then transferred into the new network.
- Validate Network and Deploy
• The consultant shall validate the network topology, fix all errors, ensuring that the network/networks behave as expected.
• The utility network/networks will then be published as a service on the appropriate ArcGIS Enterprise server as provided by the city.
