Recruitment Services

The vendor is required to provide recruitment services on an as-needed basis.
- Expected services include the firm to search for, screen and develop a list of qualified candidates who have the skills and experience to operate within a complex fire & emergency services organization.
• Provide high quality analysis of the job description and materials provided by the authority to the vendor upon award of the contract.
• Solicit input from organizational leadership and stakeholders to develop a comprehensive representation of the desired candidate and develop a written candidate profile 
• Develop recruitment materials and solicitations that describe the positions as presented, the authority organization, and clearly define the attributes and skills necessary to be successful in the position. 
• Develop a written plan for a recruitment strategy and advertising campaign, and present said plan to the authority for approval prior to commencement of the recruitment activities.
• Conduct a broad and thorough recruitment through targeted recruitment of qualified individuals from diverse backgrounds who meet the qualifications for the position. 
• Provide a timeline that allows for holding the first interviews with authority staff two weeks after the close of the recruitment with selection interviews to be held a week after the first staff interviews. 
• Receive and screen all applications as they are received, conduct preliminary interviews, and provide periodic written responses to all applicants regarding the process and their status in the process. provide applicants with the recruitment timeline so that they are aware of the anticipated schedule of interviews in order effort to move forward with the selection process more quickly. 
• Provide oral briefings and written summaries of recommended final candidates. 
• Check references on the final candidates who are recommended to the authority.
