Retirement Plan Advisory Services

The Vendor is required to provide retirement plan advisor will include, but not be limited to the following:
•    Serve as an independent consultant to the plan sponsor.
•    Maintain independence from all investment managers, brokers and custodians, with no conflicts of interest that could impair objectivity.
•    Acknowledge agreement in writing to act as a fiduciary.
•    Assist in the review and maintenance of the plan investment policy at least annually.
•    Review, on a monthly basis, the plan’s compliance with the investment target mix and recommend any re-balancing transactions.
•    Review, on an annual basis, the investment target mix and make any recommendations for adjustments.
•    Provide quarterly reports on investment activity, earnings, and the value of the plan’s portfolio holdings. 
•    These reports should include portfolio value in total, by segment, and by manager, as well as compliance with fund documents and investment policy. 
•    The reports should also include a general market environment overview, an overview of relevant market segments and their performance, plan performance compared to benchmarks, and any other information the advisor deems useful.
•    Monitor investment manager performance, fees, compliance with mandates, and organizational changes. 
•    Advise on manager retention or termination as appropriate.
•    Provide recommendations on investment managers and portfolio diversification strategies.
•    Perform asset allocation consulting/modeling including the impact of any proposed investments as well as risk analysis, credit risk reviews, volatility and liquidity studies.
•    Provide measurement by objective, performance, and trend analysis in a written report and oral presentation to the retirement committee at least annually.
•    Conduct educational sessions as requested.
•    Prepare customized reports/presentations as requested.
