General Municipal Insurance Services

The Vendor is required to provide brokers and insurers must provide evidence of long-term strength and viability, and flexibility to react to the changing insurance needs of the township.
- Brokers and Insurers must provide evidence of municipal experience including your familiarity with operations and associated risks as well as demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of legislation governing municipal operations.
- Members of the account management team will be required to attend meetings as are called to discuss their work and shall provide such information as requested which will enhance the understanding of the Township concerning matters pertaining to insurance and risk management services.
- Risk Management Services
•    Seminars;
•    Joint presentations to municipal association audiences;
•    Risk inspection services including evaluations, your evaluation method should be included;
•    Contract reviews; and,
•    Describe any other risk management services you are currently providing to municipalities.
•    Provide asset evaluation services to satisfy the insurers and protect the blanket amount of insurance provided under the property policy.
- Development of annual underwriting submissions and marketing where required and placement of new insurance coverages when requested.
- Placement of recommended insurance program coverage.
- Reviewing contracts, leases and agreements for compliance with insurance and indemnity clauses.
- Comprehensive policy reviews and recommendations for enhancement to existing coverage.
- Claims assistance, support, service and review.
- Preparation of client service plan and stewardship report.
-  Liability and property loss control services, including assessments and inspections.
- Assistance with designing self-audit tools.
- Assistance with designing in-house training and information programs.
- Attendance at or assistance to obtain “expert” presenter at in-house seminars.
- Assistance with review and development of contractual indemnification and insurance provisions.
- Environmental and Cyber Risk control services and analysis of environmental exposures.
- Please list, describe and cost any other additional services that the proponent believes may be of benefit to the Township.
- Provide an overview of the Claims Management Plan that your organization would use.
