The vendor is required to provide insurance services for a period of one year with the option to extend one-year through a fair and open process.
• Evidence that the firm is a duly licensed title insurance agency in the state.
• Evidence of insurance agent and broker errors and omissions insurance with a minimum limit of $1,000,000.00 per occurrence.
• Compliance with the requirements of the equal opportunity act.
• The awarded contractor agrees to provide an original written quotation for each transaction as requested by county agencies, with final invoice to show any discounts applied to the premium off-filed rates.
• Principals shall demonstrate at least five (5) years requisite experience in representation of state governmental entities.
• State farmland preservation program (state agriculture development committee) requirements preferred.
• Firms shall be familiar with the state agriculture development committee guidelines for reviewing title commitment policy, the green acres title commitment report, title insurance policy checklist and shall agree to abide by same. please refer to the enclosed guidelines following the technical proposal.
• Firms must be familiar and have experience with urban land titles and eminent domain services.
• Provide evidence that the firm is a duly appointed agent for a title insurance company authorized to write title policies in state.
• Refer to enclosed documents with regard to green acres and state farmland preservation and following links to same.
